From one of the Lapis Lazuli Ores that are on the North side of the group, move to the 4th block in the North direction. To know where the north is, you can press F3. WebEssentially, what you wanna do is find a river and a clay patch, locate the center block of that patch (recommended to be done on circular ones for less difficulty), go 2 blocks towards the positive Z axis and dig down. If you don't find any, try digging one block to each direction at around y12. 8/10 times you will find a diamond.

WebMany of you are mentioning Matthew Bolan’s video on finding diamond using clay patches in lakes. In 1.17, this was changed though. Using that will lead to to lapis instead. You can then use OP’s method in order to find diamonds. EDIT: I was wrong. The clay method doesn't work for lapis either.
